Ripping a CDG disc results in sound only, no graphics

If you have ripped a track from a CDG disc that plays without displaying any graphics, first make sure that all channels are activated. If not CDGFix 3 Super may suppress the graphics if they play on a channel that is inactive. To activate all channels select All On on the Channels menu. For more information about channels and how they are used please refer to The CDG graphics format.

If still no graphics display it is possible that the CD drive used to rip the track does not support reading the R-W subcode channels. This is the area on the CDG disc where the graphics are stored. You can review the capabilities of your CD drive by selecting Settings on the Options menu and then opening the CD/DVD-Drives page. If you have multiple drives installed be sure to select the correct drive in the list at the top. The Raw R-W sub-channel data indicates whether the drive is capable of returning the graphics when ripping tracks; if this option is cleared you drive is not usable for this task.

If the Raw R-W sub-channel data option is selected and you still get no graphics when ripping using this drive you may contact CDGFix 3 Super support to get assistance in finding a solution to the problem. Contact details are available at Technical support.
