Find Duplicates

Opens the Find Duplicate Tracks dialog that helps you find duplicate tracks in the project. You can search the project for duplicates based on one or more of the columns Title, Artist and Disc name. If one or more duplicates are found a report presenting the duplicates will be created.

When comparing two tracks to see whether they are duplicates CDGFix 3 Super uses an algorithm for string matching that do not require for example artist names to be spelled exactly identical to be considered the same. I.e. the three strings "Elvis Presley", "Elvis" and "Presley" will be considered as matches. These three strings will also match strings like "E P", "Elvis Aron Presley" and "E A P". Please refer to the Find Duplicates Tracks dialog for more details.
