Version 3.6 released

CDGFix 3.6 released!

  • New feature to allow for automated transfer of license to a new install or computer. By supplying your original purchase information (order number, product key, and license key) you can now install CDGFix on a fresh Windows install or new computer without the need to wait for manual reply from our sales department.
  • The CAVS list files (songlist.txt, list.txt, juke.txt) have been updated once more. The previous specifications were somewhat misleading. Verification against CAVS documentation now ensures correct files.
  • In the Demo version, Export Tracks now allow for export to all supported formats, not only CDG+MP3. Thus it is now possible to test all formats before buying. The limitation of exporting only the first 60 seconds of each song still exists, as do the limit of max 10 songs.
  • Some installations of Windows and antivirus software disables the scripting runtime (SCRRUN.DLL) required by CDGFix. This causes CDGFix to crash during startup. CDGFix now checks explicitly whether this file is correctly installed, and gives a meaningful message if not. The on-line help is also updated with a section under Troubleshooting on how to remedy the situation.
