Configure a disc lookup catalog

CDGFix 3 Super supports the concept of Disc Lookup Catalogs to help you load titles and artist names for tracks in the Project window. The main entrance to loading this information from a Disc Lookup Catalog is by selecting Load Title/Artist on the project Tools menu. This will bring up the Load Track Information dialog if your tracks are loaded from files on the HDD, or the Load Disc Tracks Info dialog if the tracks are loaded from a CD+G disc.

However, before you can start using this feature in CDGFix 3 Super you must configure at least one disc lookup catalog. The catalogs - also known as songbook programs - supported by CDGFix 3 Super are:

In addition you can also use a CSV file as the source for disc lookup. This is useful if you do not own one of the above songbook programs but still have access to the information and can save it as a CSV file.

To configure a disc lookup catalog in CDGFix 3 Super first select Settings on the Options menu. This will display the Settings dialog. Now select the Disc Catalogs page, and then open the page that corresponds to the songbook program you want to use. When the configuration is completed you are ready to use the disc lookup features of CDGFix 3 Super to ease you work for example when ripping CD+G discs. You can also browse the contents of a disc lookup catalog by selecting Browse Disc Catalogs on the main Tools menu.
